Mick’s great handy hints.

The disadvantages of having an SLR.
A very interesting read over at http://www.beyondmegapixels.com by Prajneet Singh. He talks about his run in with some security people who saw him with a DSLR. The fact that you aren’t allowed to take them into some concerts, sporting events etc drives me mad. Sure, I understand that there are pros there and it is their way of feeding the family, but really, they are usually in prime positions, not behind huge fences or barriers (see photo). Let the enthusiasts have a crack!

Olympus E-P1, Will It Blend?
After reading the odd review or 50, and scouring the interwebs for sample photos, I jumped onto YouTube and did a search on Olympus E-P1. At the very bottom of the first page of search results was one that shocked and horrified me. That bugger, Tom Dickson, was about to throw a shiny new E-P1 into his world famous blender! Oh the pain. I wasn’t sure I could watch. I am glad I did.
