It is that time of year again, time for Canon’s Photo5 competition. Opening for registration next Monday August 31, this competition is in its 3rd year, and I expect the registrations will go pretty quickly. So if you are up for a challenge, you had better jump in quick. The little cardboard boxes always seem to generate lots of chatter on photography forums all over Australia.

As a hack photographer, everywhere I go I see photographic opportunities. Here is a link that pretty much sums up the way I see the world, and I think it is relevant to most photographers.
