Ever wondered why you have to sell a body part of first born to buy a Leica camera? Well this may explain it.

How I have managed to not notice the sister site to the Boston Globes Big Picture is beyond me. Big Shots, their sports photos site is just as good.

Did all these photos change the world? That’s questionable. Are they all great photographs? Again, it is debatable. What I will say is that there are some superb photos in the list. And some very confronting ones to. You have been warned.
