My Favourite Jetty, originally uploaded by norbography.

I decided to go out and play with some of my Cokin filters this afternoon. Forgetting just how much of a pain in the arse it can be. I managed to grab a couple of mediocre shots before I gave up.

Full Moon Rising #3, originally uploaded by norbography.

Well, it was an interesting night. When I got to the spot I wanted to take the photos, there was a storm out to see, pretty much exactly where the moon was due to come up. I got a little bit excited thinking about moon and lightening shots. As it turned out, the storm died about 5 minutes before the moon made its appearance. Bugger.

Ah well, here are 2 of the shots I managed.

Federal election day today. I think this is the best shot I got this morning. Compared to the last election, this one was dead.

Hello, yes, the blog is still alive, although it has slowed to a crawl. I am slowly going to change the philosophy of the blog from one of photography news and a collection of web sites that delivers content on a regular basis, to one that is less frequent in updates, but more about my experiences in photography. Whooooosh. Hey, come back! I promise I will try and make it entertaining.

I will write more about things like my experience with the new Polaroid film, Photographer or gearhead and the iPhone camera and Apps.

To the people who are groaning and removing the blog from their RSS feed, all I can say is give it a chance. You might still find the site informative and a good read. To the rest of you, I hope you enjoy the ride.

Nom nom nom.
