This shot sums up this years road trip. The weather hasn’t been very kind. I have still enjoyed myself immensely, I just realise how spoilt I have been on the previous 3 trips. This is what I had to say on Flickr about this photo.

I walked 8kms this afternoon according to the GPS. And most of the time was waiting around for the clouds to drift out of the way of the sun. It is a wonderful place, but I was getting pissed off at this point.

Tomorrow I head home, if I am still tired, I will stop half way and stay the night. Will see how I feel.

Well this years road trip is coming up and I am after tips and places to see along the Murray River. I am going to try and start as near to the source as possible, and then spend 2 weeks driving along the Murray, probably as far as the SA border.

If I have time, I might even go up to Mungo NP from Mildura.

Any advice from people that either live along the route or have done a similar trip would be greatly appreciated.

Well, tomorrow is my 1st day back at work after 2 weeks off. It is always a hard day to get out of bed. You know you aren’t doing it for the enjoyment, you have to do it to pay the bills.

I am still ploughing through the 1100 photos I took whilst I was away. Its like panning for gold in a mined out creek. I’m not finding any nuggets, but the odd speck of gold here and there.

I managed to find 1 more boring video, and it is on its way to the interweb. Thanks to my speedy connection, it should be there in a bit over 2 hours. Link to follow.
